This workshop will include hands-on learning that explores real-world topics like farming, climate, and local history through maps, data, and emerging AI tools. Workshop participants will explore how maps and AI power the world around us, use tools like ChatGPT, ArcGIS, Google Earth, NOAA, and Teachable Machine. Project discussions will be on age-appropriate projects that middle school students can participate in and build upon as they matriculate to high school.

Come learn about school gardens, animals in classrooms, and training middle school CDE and LDE teams. Each teacher will present one best practice on integrating a course core principle as well as a best practice on training a middle school CDE/LDE team.
